Alrighty, welcome back after wild ride of emotions. If you follow me on Twitter, I am sorry for the slight saltiness after that cowboys game but boy was that frustrating.
Still another week with a winning record though, so can’t complain about that. Again this deep into the season the stats are starting to kind of go back to 50/50. Although keep an eye out for that new betting strategy I told ya about.
I am very glad I didn’t take a Thursday night pick last week, that game was tough to pick, I ended up losing my personal bet on that, which seemed to be a trend last week.
Ok so that betting trend of taking the under on 9.5 point favorites, seems to work after one week of trial run. The jags and chiefs game hit the under and now I am a believer!
Titans squeaked out another week of proving they are not a horrible team and can still play well. Although the Broncos are not good either. Either way I knew that pick was easy money.
Cardinals somehow won with a hurt squad and the Rams proved they still are not good. I was pretty confident that the Cardinals would keep it close, but they did better than that. T’s and P’s to my guy Zach Ertz who was so clutch in fantasy, easy win on this one.
Alright the Cowboys BLEW IT. There is no reason that game should have gone to OT, let alone that horrid decision to go for it on 4th down. This game was won in the third quarter, and then our Defense just lost all fire, got toasted in the last quarter of the game. I’m so upset.
Another week of my weird ass teasers coming in handy, with the Chargers being able to cover the 14 points and keeping it under a high score. These are my bread and butter.
Eagles wagon has officially had a broken wheel. They are still a good football team, and I think the new frauds of the NFL are the Vikings. I think the Eagles just got a bit complacent. Good gut check game for them, and the loss helps my boys.
Alright, enough of the chit chat, on to the picks.
NFL Picks YTD 17-12-1
Packers (-3) vs. Titans
Ok, so I know that I’ve been saying the Titans are good. Well I still think they are. However, they did struggle last week a decent amount and didn’t look as good as the previous week. I think the Packers are turning over a new leaf here now. Watson is going to help carry this team to the cover here on TNF.
Bills (-7.5) vs. Browns
This bet is very contingent on if Josh Allen plays. I think he’ll tough it out for another week though. Allen is damn good at coming back with a fire under his ass after a loss. Browns are not very good, and the Bills are extremely good. I think the Bills win by at least 10.
Eagles (-6.5) vs. Colts
I think this is a get right game for the Eagles. I’m going to give the Eagles wagon one more ride. I think the bookmakers are toning it back a bit this week after last weeks performance by the Eagles. I still think they are good and the Colts are real real bad.
Ravens vs. Panthers Under 41.5
I hate the 3 o’clock hour games Sunday (yes even the cowboys game) so sticking with the noon games. Going to try the strategy for another week. Ravens are favored but 13.5 points at the time of writing this and that calls for betting the under. Let’s see if this thing really works or if Vegas has caught on yet.
Chargers (+12.5) & Under 56.5 vs. Cheifs
Anotha one. Give the teaser another shot. I like the Chiefs to win but the Chargers to keep it somewhat close. The under on the points is just a given at this point. Let’s get it done in LA Sunday night.
Cardinals (+8.5) vs. 49ers
Cardinals are hurting right now, but this is just too many points for Jimmy G and the boys to cover. The Niners have been struggling to get their offense going, so I just don’t see them cover 9 whole points. I think the Cardinals can keep it that close in prime time.
