YTD 34-37-1

2-8 Just a frankly brutal week picking sides last week. I am fighting for my life for winning week on sides alone thank goodness I went 6-3 on totals to buoy what was a terrible Saturday of gambling for me. Everywhere I looked I was staring another loser in the face. This is a week where champions have the potential to be made though. The slate this week in one word is “Divine” with eight ranked on ranked matchups this has all the fixins of being an all time September weekend of college football so lets get right into it starting on Friday night in West Lafayette Indiana.

Sides YTD 16-26-1

Wisconsin (-6) vs Purdue

I am not convinced the boilermakers are a good team this year. Wisconsin had a disappointing loss in Pullman already this year and Friday night at Purdue is not an easy place to play. Which is why this line being 6 really does not make sense to me. With how bad I have been picking sides though you cannot be afraid sometimes to fade your own brain. For that reason I am taking the Badgers and laying the number tonight.

Florida State (-2) vs Clemson

I may just bet the Noles every game this year. I hate this line. FSU had a tough time at BC last week, but that may have been a look ahead game for this one. This is also a Clemson team that has already lost to Duke this young season. I like the Noles I think they are a better football team and should win this game by at least 10 points.

Virginia Tech vs Marshall (-5.5)

I will be honest I have not watched much of these teams this year. That being said I like the herd in this one simply, because this is more about the state these two programs currently are in and I think Marshall is in the driver seat in that sense.

Ole Miss (+7) vs Alabama

Ole Miss has beaten Alabama exactly two times in games that are played in Tuscaloosa. Lane wants to win this game so bad nothing would give him greater satisfaction. Now I am not saying I think the Rebs will win this game, but I like them to keep it within the line. Tide Rolls 27-24 on a game winning field goal as time expires and lane has a mild conniption as Saban shakes his hand at mid field.

UCLA vs Utah (-5.5)

Cam Rising is back for the Utes and they are playing at home where they don’t lose. Keep it simple stupid and bet the Utes.

Miami (FL) (-23.5) vs Temple

I think Miami maybe a good football team after all. I would like to see that culminate this saturday with a dismantling of the Temple Owls in their home roast of Philadelphia. Canes should roll if I happen to lose this bet (Impossible I know…) I will impose a ban on myself from betting the canes for 3 weeks.

UTSA vs Tennessee (-21.5)

The Vols embarrassed themselves losing in the swamp last week. They bounce back and trounce the roadrunners in the friendly confides of good ole rocky top this week.

FUCK IT LETS DO IT GAME OF THE YEAR ALERT.

Ohio State vs Notre Dame (+3.5)

Biggest game of the weekend will be played in South Bend Indiana and I am rolling with the Irish. Notre Dame is a home dog to a very good Buckeyes team that finally flexed its muscles in the Shoe last week with a 63-10 drubbing of Western Kentucky. If your scared go to church and thats exactly what I am doing backing the Catholics this weekend. I love Sam Hartman and believe he is a top 3 QB in the country behind a Top 3 O-Line unit with a top 10 RB in tow as well. I look for the Irish to make life difficult for Kyle Mccord in his first ever true road test. I will be betting the Irish to win the game, but for the purpose of this sheet and the GOTY bet having a field goal and a hook in my pocket in a sense is like a lucky four leaf clover. GO IRISH!!!

CAL vs Washington (-20.5)

The Huskies may very well have the best offense in the country. Dogs big.

Totals YTD 18-11

Wisconsin vs Purdue (Over 54)

I have no analysis for this I simply want to root for a friday night over. Sue me.

Auburn vs Texas A&M (Over 51)

Nothing that could happen between these two slimeball coaching staffs would shock me. I think the Aggies will continue to score points. Give me the over on this relatively low total.

BYU vs Kansas (Over 54.5)

The Mormans stay in the middle of the country after beating my hogs last week. I think this game could get all sorts of odd give me the over.

Arkansas vs LSU (Under 55)

Hogs usually play really hard in Baton Rouge and with their pride being hurt I look for some defensive adjustments in terms of effort to be made. LSU having dominated Mississippi State last week hopefully will have a bit of a hangover after reading some press clippings on Tiger Droppings. I look for the Hogs to drag the Tigers into the mud and make this one real ugly shades of the 2021 version of this matchup.

Iowa vs Penn State (Under 38.5)

Now I have gotten a little bit away from my roots taking Iowa Overs with all this talk about Brian Ferentz and his contract, but this week will be a vintage ugly ass Iowa game points be damned.

Texas vs Baylor (Over 48.5)

Idk when I read those two teams names and think about the total only being 48.5 it does not compute in my brain. I expect points in Waco this weekend.

Parlay of the week

Auburn vs Texas A&M over 51, Utah -5.5, BYU vs Kansas Over 54.5

10 to win 58.98
