With a much improved effort on the sides last week I went 5-2 bringing our sides back to .500 and our overall picks to 2 games above .500, What a fun week we have this week with so many big matchups in the top 25 and opportunities to make money all over the place I am feeling good about these picks heading into my third week doing this. With that being said let’s get to the picks.

Sides YTD 7-7

Boston College (+16) vs Clemson

We keep waiting for the Clemson of old to rear its tiger head and show some fight and blow the doors off these ACC opponents and it simply keeps not happening. I’m not really sure what is wrong with this Clemson team, but with BC coming off an emotional SEC win at home I like them to stay within the number in this one.

Florida vs Kentucky (+8)

A battle between two teams that both won me money last week. Kentucky is a good team with good coaching and with this being at home vs a very good Florida team this is a fair line and I like the Cats to cover.

Army (-7.5) vs Ball State

Another week another time backing the Cadets. I have been all over Army the last few weeks so I’m going to keep riding with them just like you ride the fullback in that flexbone attack. I do worry a bit more when the black knights get away from home, but I like them in this one to get the job done.

Ole Miss (+14) vs Alabama
This game should be pure chaos in Tuscaloosa this Saturday night. Lane Kiffin brings the rebels in with their first 4-0 start in forever and a QB with heisman buzz already. I know you don’t get rich betting against Alabama, but getting two touchdowns I love this line. I may sprinkle the moneyline as well in this one.

Texas (-5.5) vs TCU

The longhorns hung 70 on Texas Tech last week and covered our -9 with ease. Going to Ft Worth to play a Gary Patterson coached team can always present problems, but with the way the Texas’s rushing attack has gotten rolling in the two weeks since playing the Razorbacks I like them to be able to gun TCU out of their building.

Tennessee vs Mizzou (-3)

This line should be more like 7 with the way the Vols have played this year. Vegas is giving a discount on the tigers, because of their loss to BC last week in Beantown. I still think Mizzou is the better team and being at home I like the Tigers.

Arkansas (+18.5) vs Georgia

A top ten matchup between the hedges being played at 11am EST with kirk herbstreet on the call and the Razorbacks playing in it?? What kind of fever dream am I in?? That being said this game will come down to which offense can make big plays since both teams will struggle to sustain drives. Georgia has the talent discrepancy, but with Coach Pittman coming from the bulldog program one can hope he has a few insights that may help come gametime. I will also be betting the Hogs Moneyline, but I cannot in good faith advise you to do the same.

Iowa vs Maryland (Under 47.5)

Just bet the under in Hawkeyes games. Maryland has a really good offense with Tua’s younger brother. It does not matter here bet Iowa unders until they prove their offense has an actual pulse.

Duke vs UNC (Over 71.5)

This number is huge, but hey it’s college football these things happen. Duke and UNC both can’t tackle anybody and UNC can score some points. I’m thinking a score of 55-31 in this one will be high flying and if you enjoy watching Touchdowns all night I would tune in to this one.

Cincinnati vs Notre Dame (Over 50.5)

I was too indecisive to pick a side in this one though I would lean Cinci, therefore I will be taking the over. I think both of these defense’s have some holes and like this one to get over the number.

Baylor vs Okie St. (Over 47.5)

I feel like I know this Okie st team since I’ve bet so many of their games ignoring the fact I don’t think I’ve won one of those bets. Big 12 games under 50 are just too tempting for me and would not be surprised if this gets bet up to 50 by gametime so if you like the over I would get it in sooner than later.

Boston College vs Clemson (Under 46.5)

Either Clemson breaks out and blows this number along with our BC bet out of the water or they continue to sleep walk through this season which in that case even with this low number I think we can hit it.

Auburn vs LSU (Under 55)

This has the feeling of an old school matchup between these folks. Unfortunately all LSU does these days seemingly is pass trying to rekindle the magic of Joe Burrow. This Auburn team after struggling to get by Georgia St last week inspires no confidence. I like the Under in this one.

Fresno State vs Hawaii (Under 65.5)

This Hawaii team just can’t score like they used to be able to. I still don’t hate taking the rainbow warriors and the points on the Island. This one however I think will be a low scoring affair and 65.5 is a lot of points.
