College football truly is an encapsulation of life. The drama the intrigue the elation of winning the absolute agony of defeat. No sport brings to the table the absolute rabidness of human nature quite like it. No sport also brings the collective joy and sense of pride in a community quite like it either. That is why I find this whole story out of Ann Arbor so enthralling and captivating. It reminds me of the days of deflategate and defending the wall against all foes. The only difference is the prevalence of message boards and every Michigan alum seemingly having a law degree to argue online about it. I am currently writing this at 11:13 friday morning and no punishment has been doled out to Jim Harbaugh or the Michigan wolverines at present. That being said I will be making Michigan -4.5 a GOTY. That entails a smaller card this week because, when I write this sheet I bet every game I give you and if I am going to be putting my balls on the line with the Wolverines I have to practice responsible gambling elsewhere. That being said lets get into these picks.

Sides YTD 53-57-3

GOTY ON BIG NOON SATURDAY

Michigan (-4.5) vs Penn State

Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines will be headed into Happy valley to play against a nasty Penn State defense in less than 24 hours now. This matchup comes down to my faith in two men JJ Mcarthey and Jim Harbaugh. I believe JJ is a more developed QB than Drew Aller is at this point in his career and I know Jim Harbaugh is a better in game coach than his counter part James Franklin. I think this will be classic Big 10 war and this is what November football is all about toughness and execution. I simply believe that Michigan has more experience doing those things at a high level than the Nittnay lions do. Also if your gonna back a team in this good of a matchup don’t you want your money on the one allegedly stealing signs?

Texas Tech vs Kansas (-3.5)

Made a mistake in doubting Mr. Bean and the Jayhawks last week. Thought it was a bad spot, but they dominated Iowa State last week. That continues this week as Kansas dispels a bad Tech Team at home this weekend.

Oklahoma State (-2.5) vs UCF

Cowboys may be the hottest team in CFB at the present moment. I like them to keep it rolling against the space knights. Also old school Big 12 teams have absolutely dominated vs the new kids on the block I like that trend to continue here.

Tennessee (-2) vs Missouri

I think Missouri may have thrown there best effort last week against the dawgs in Athens. This one is less numbers based and more just the vibes point too big orange in this one, even away from rocky top and those Tennessee hills.

Ole Miss vs Georgia (-10.5)

What Ole Miss did at home in the second half was a damn disgrace and they should be ashamed of themselves. Giving up 21 second half points to Max Johnson is despicable work and Ole Miss is firmly in my personal doghouse. That all being said from a more zoomed out view I believe this Rebels team to be closer to 6-3 than 8-1 where they currently sit. I also the dawgs are a horrible matchup for Ole miss stylistically. Lane Kiffin as a dog is bad at covering spreads, because he plays to win the games. A Lot of coaches are good at covering spreads as dogs, because they are simply playing not to lose the game as bad and get embarrassed. Lane has the proper mentality that a Loss is a Loss either way may as well attempt to win. That entails more chances on 4th down attempts which if they do not convert their chances of covering inside 14 drops drastically in my mind. Also Brock Bowers may play and he is fucking amazing at football.

Totals YTD 36-30

Maryland vs Nebraska (Under 43)

I think this game is gonna be ugly as hell and I won’t in all likelihood watch a snap of it.

Oklahoma State vs UCF (Over 65.5)

Gus Malzon will be able to score for the knights and I like this game to be played in the 30’s so give me the over.

Florida vs LSU (Over 67)

You should know the deal by now with LSU overs. They are one of the loyal bets I have week in and week out.

USC vs Oregon (Over 76)

I am fairly certain Oregon can score whatever amount of points they want to in this one.

Parlay of the week

Michigan -4.5, Over 65.5 Okie State, Over 67 LSU, Under 47.5 Purdue
