YTD 13-22-0
Boy oh boy did I take a whipping on my totals last week a dismal 1-6 on totals from last week with some truly horrendous beats. I gave you the Northwestern Under 37 that game went to overtime tied 13-13 and we lose. I gave you Arkansas under 63 that game goes to OT and we lose. Just some straight nasty stuff from last week. Despite those losses on unders I believe with new clock rules and the tempo a lot of teams have been playing at in most of these games the under is still the right play most of the time. All that being said it is time to flush week 2 from memory and move on to providing winners for week three to get us back on track.
Sides YTD 10-12-0
Alabama (-16.5) vs Wisconsin
Covering three scores on the road against a Big 10 team is not a small task. Bama just has a different caliber of Athlete on the field. I look for Bama to do a lot of QB run play in this game. I worry about Alabama a lot more on defense than I do for the offense. At the end of the day I do not anticipate Van Dyke being able to make enough plays in order to cover this number. Bama and Big.
LSU (-6.5) vs South Carolina
South Carolina looked much better against Kentucky than I had anticipated last week. Kentucky might be fairly bad this year though. I like LSU to go and be able to move the ball with much more ease than the wildcats did last week in Lexington. Give me Tigers, because for all the talk about how Brian Kelly cannot win the big one he is a very wealthy coach, because he always wins this type of game.
BC vs Mizzou (-14.5)
Boston College fresh off a win down on Tallahassee has to get back on the plane and go play an SEC team. I do not see BC being able to score enough points to keep up with the tigers in this one. Mizzou has yet to have their starters play a whole game. I think they will leave them in a while to get on the same page with conference play starting next week. I know this is supposedly a ranked matchup, but I just do not see it Mizzou wins going away.
West Virginia (-2) vs Pitt
Backyard brawl back in Pittsburg. Something weird always happens in this one. I will take the Moutineers to go up to the big city and bring a win back to morgantown and burn some coaches on the way.
UAB vs Arkansas (-22)
Anything inside of 24 I like the hogs in this one. Taylen Green has played well for Arkansas early on. This is also the hogs true home opener in week 3 which is way to late in the season for that to be happening. I do not think Trent Dilfer is a very good head football coach. I look for Petrino to leave the offense in and score a lot of points in preparation for conference play. Have to win this one convincingly just have to.
Va Tech vs ODU (+15)
ODU gives teams fits down in the Tidewaters. Getting two touchdowns at home when every player on your team got looked over by VA Tech they will have boundless motivation to go out and win.
Indiana (-3) vs UCLA
This is simply a coaching matchup bet. I think Curt Cignetti is a better coach bringing in all his JMU transfers I think the Hoosiers will be the more disciplined football team and show UCLA what Big 10 football is really all about.
Air Force (+17) vs Baylor
I know this is not one of the better Air Force teams in recent memory but this is not your older brothers baylor either. I will take three scores and the clock being chewed up by a clock killing fullback go falcons.
Totals YTD 3-10
Notre Dame vs Purdue (Under 47)
Notre Dame does not seem to have much of a pulse on offense and I still love their defense in state rivalry game I will take this one being a low scoring affair.
UAB vs Arkansas (Under 61)
Got burned by them last week, but sometimes you have to touch the oven a few times before you can see if its really on give me the hogs to lock in on defense late.
Georgia vs Kentucky (Under 45.5)
How is Kentucky going to score? That QB is very very bad at playing QB. Give me the dogs to pitch a shutout.
Toledo vs Miss State (Under 57.5)
This game is very gross. take the check and get home safe rockets.
UMass vs Buffalo (Under 45.5)
Yeah I picked the worst game of the week and took the under what are you going to do about it?
Parlay of the week
