YTD 28-45-1
I think I may just have to stop betting totals. Went 0-5 last week on the totals. On the other side I went 8-3-1 on totals to make the week completely even on the wash. If Georgia had been able to hold on to that game in Tuscaloosa after that comeback we would have hit the parlay and the week would have been fairly respectable unfortunately that did not happen and we lose some money to the juice. Now on to this week the card is not that hot this week. If you have family obligations to do get them out of the way this weekend. Next weekend however will arguably be the best card of our season so get ready for that. Have to build the bankroll up this weekend though to be ready so lets get to some picks.
Sides YTD 23-23-1
Michigan State vs Oregon (-23)
We cashed last week fading the spartans as 23.5 point dogs against the buckeyes. If you look ahead to next week the Buckeyes are -2.5 point favorites against the ducks in eugene. I like Oregon to get out ahead of this one on friday night and stay ahead give me the ducks.
Syracuse vs UNLV (-6)
One of my over arching thoughts about this college football season does making all these cross country trips start to wear on guys. Probably not since they are 17-25 years old, but something to think about. I like taking home teams on short weeks and this rebs team is a lot of fun to root for and a bet on.
Navy (-9.5) vs Air Force
I think Air force had the dudes in this matchup last year and Navy has the dudes this year. So much of knowing how to bet the service academies is QB play and I like Navy’s better this year.
Army (-12.5) vs Tulsa
One thing I think this Black Knights team is very good at is imposing their will and dominating inferior opponents. That is what Tulsa is this year. Army takes care of business in Oklahoma this Saturday.
BC (+1.5) vs Virginia
BC gets Castellanos back this week at QB. He is the difference give me the Eagles.
Iowa vs Ohio State (-18)
Unfortunately for the Hawkeyes this game will play out how the old big ten championships games play out. Iowa plays awesome defense and bails out the offense for as long as they can but in the end the tide always rises and suddenly you look up and they’ve lost by 21.
Auburn vs Georgia (-22.5)
Full on fade Auburn mode has engaged in my brain. This spread is probably a tad to high, but fuck it give me the dawgs in between the hedges.
Ole Miss vs South Carolina (+9)
I’ve been bad on both sides of these teams all year so I should stay away, but South Carolina is getting their QB back and this might be a bit of a look ahead game for the Rebs with LSU on deck next week.
Indiana (-13.5) vs Northwestern
Now Indiana on the other hand is a team I have been all over they are an absolute wagon. They covered with ease last week despite two early turnovers. I love the coach. I love the QB. I love the Defense. Teams tend to win a lot with that trio.
Clemson (-15) vs Florida State
Clemson lost to georgia week one then turned into a ball of chainsaws. I love the tigers in this one.
Tennessee (-14) vs Arkansas
The formula for betting the hogs is very easy for me this year. If the hogs are less than a TD underdog bet them. They will hang tight lose and cover. If the hogs are more than a TD underdog bet against them. This Tennessee front will present a lot of problems for the hogs and it is the hogs nature to have the stupidest turnovers possible. You cannot give this tennessee team extra possessions they will make you pay.
Colorado State vs Oregon State (-11)
I don’t believe in this rams team at all is what this comes down to.
Duke vs Georgia Tech (-9.5)
Duke fresh off a 20 point comeback vs a rival. This is a classic fall on your face spot for the blue devils give me that ramblin wreck to put them back in their place.
Totals YTD 5-22-1
