8-7 last week that’s a winning week, but ya got to be better than just a game better than .500 if you want to beat the juice. A winning week is a winning week though and you are what your record says you are. If you are checking my record you would see I am up 15 units on these picks over the course of the year. So this week I am gonna add a little spice for you so stick around till the end where I will give you a three team parlay just a little snack to see if we can juice it up. I will be keeping parlay picks completely separate in terms of units won to maintain the purity of the running weekly total. That parlay is solely for you to try and give you a little jolt before feast week.
Sides YTD 38-33-1
Central Michigan (-1) vs Ball State
This was a bit of a tough one for me, but I have been seeing the midweek MAC games so clearly lately and the chips have been doing nothing, but winning me money. They’ve had some issues falling behind early in games of late they can’t do that tonight against this heavy ball control Ball State Offense. I like the Chippewas to keep the win streak going tonight in Indiana.
Louisville (-20) vs Duke
This Duke team is dead. I have no Idea how they have not fired David Cutcliffe yet. Give me Louisville who just beat up Syracuse last weekend they have some momentum and this Duke team has quit weeks ago.
Florida State vs BC (-2.5)
Coming off a big win at home vs a rival Florida state should be feeling a little better about their season. Unfortunately for them they immediately have to head north to Boston town. Where QB Phil Jurkovec waits to tear them down another notch the eagles get it done in this one.
Michigan State vs Ohio State (-19.5)
As long as you can get this number inside of three touchdowns I would feel good about it. This Ohio State offense is a damn juggernaut. They are good for a 50 bomb almost anywhere in the country they step off the bus. Maybe I am not giving enough credit to Michigan State but with the common opponent being Purdue and this game being at the “Shoe” I feel very confident in this Buckeyes team.
Arkansas (+21) vs Alabama
When was the last time Arkansas beat Alabama? Well it was before Iphones were invented. In 2006 the Razorbacks beat the tide by a point in double overtime. Nick Saban has never lost to the Razorbacks. All these things considered I have also never attended a football game in Tuscaloosa at Bryant-Denny Stadium. I just so happen to be attending this game and with the Tide looking vulnerable at times this year winning by just 6 at home vs LSU two weekends ago, I’m calling the upset. I mean what do I really have to lose? This has been the best season of Arkansas football in a long damn time and with wins vs A&M and LSU on the road this year let’s add one more. WHOLE HOG, HALF HAM, ARKANSAS BY DAMN. HOGS MONEYLINE.
Michigan (-14.5) vs Maryland
With the only game that matters to the wolverines on the horizon I could see them stumbling this week, but in true Michigan fashion they have to be looking top form right before the fall. Michigan rolls in this one.
Oklahoma State (-11) vs Texas Tech
What a game winning kick for Texas Tech last week. 62 yard kick in college for the win??? He might as well have kicked it from the moon. With Lubbock’s terrain he very well may have. For that reason they are doomed this weekend though. Oklahoma State is rolling and with their playoff dreams still alive they will be looking for the infamous “Style Points”. Pokes and big.
6-1
Totals YTD 38-28
Arizona vs Washington State (Over 52.5)
As crazy as it sounds this wildcats team has been showing some life the last couple weeks. Mainly because Cal had a huge covid outbreak, but nonetheless this should be an interesting game between arguably the two teams in the Pac-12 with the toughest seasons.
Florida State vs BC (Under 54.5)
I feel like my record double betting games not named Georgia this year have been horrendous. That being said I love the under here BC playing their ball control style defense paired with that defense of theirs I like the eagles to control the game start to finish.
Nebraska vs Wisconsin (Over 41.5)
We hit the Wisconsin over at this exact number last week by a half point. Let’s run it back. I think this game will play out a bit different than last week, but I still love the over.
SMU vs Cincinnati (Over 65)
Both of these teams have shown us they can put up points at times. The problem has been they’ve been inconsistent when they choose to do so on a week to week basis. This will be the Bearcats biggest conference game so far this year so I am fairly certain they will show up. It’s a question more so if we can get the Mustangs fired up for us to score the dang ball.
Virginia vs Pitt (Over 66)
Another similar type matchup and point total just the ACC this time. I like Pitt to score fairly easily on this Cavaliers defense. I also think Pitt can give up their fair share to a Pretty decent Virginia offense. I think this total will continue to tick up and not down before saturday.
UCLA vs USC (Under 66)
I don’t think either of these teams are very good. Maybe they get the juices going for this game just because it’s the battle for LA? I think UCLA probably wins because the Trojans are a dumpster fire, but 66 points are not being scored in this one.
Oregon vs Utah (Over 58.5)
All the Utes have done this year is hit overs. Their totals are hitting the over at a rate of 80% this season. Keep riding this trend with the ducks coming to town.
