Welcome back folks, how we all feeling after the holiday weekend filled with Football? Had a decent week last week going 5-2-1 without the Jake Ferguson anytime TD loss. For this sheet we will count that for the YTD, so make it 5-3-1. I think that was enough to beat the juice if you got all those picks at good odds. This week will be more of a normal 5-6 pick week.
Lets quickly recap the picks last week. The Lions dropped the ball big time to start the holiday weekend. I am not sure what happened to them, but from what I have seen is very unlike them. I think I will still be riding with the Lions every chance I get. Maybe they were just due for an ass whoopin.
Cowboys had an ok first half, but then really turned it all the way on in the second half. Watching Daron Bland get the NFL record for pick six’s in a season was glorious. Looking for the Cowboys to keep the train rollin. I cant believe freakin every other major player got a tuddy and Ferguson didnt.
The 49ers game was rather uneventful. I should have just taken the big spread with the niners and saved the stress. Still got the W though so cant complain too much.
Dolphins vs Jets… Not sure what I was thinking here. Dolphins always dominate shit teams. I should have just taken the big spread with them too, but instead we got boned with last minute scoring.
Jaguars vs Texans game was really fun to watch actually. I was starting to get worried about the under. It was a sweat but 45 points was still under the total of 48.5.
The Eagles somehow made that a close game. I dont know if it was the weather or what, but I did not think this had any chance of being a push. Damn eagles.
Ravens kicked ass like I thought they would. Chargers suck. Lamar looked great. Commentating on the game sucked.
Boy that Vikings vs Bears game was boring. But it was an easy dub.
As far as trends go, away favorites are trending up ATS. The unders this year are still winning so much. This is why I keep betting these things.
NFL Picks YTD 36-25-5
Seahawks vs. Cowboys (-8.5)
Cowboys have won all home games by at least 20 points this season. They are also 5-0 ATS at home. Cowboys are rollin, Seahawks are a little banged up right now. I think the train keeps going to the boys at home.
Lions (-4.5) vs. Saints
Lions are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 on the road. They are 7-4 ATS overall. Saints suck. I think the Lions go down south with a big bounce back win after getting their asses kicked on Thanksgiving. Give me the BRAND NEW LIONS.
49ers (-2.5) vs. Eagles
Lets be clear, the only reason I am taking this is because its on this side of the 3 points. It moves to 3 or 3.5, the Eagles are the clear pick. Eagles are rolling, and as much as I hate to say this, they are a good team. 49ers have not proven they can compete with a top tier team I dont think. However, I think they play well in this one. They have to. If you like winning picks, dont take this one. I just really hate the Eagles and I want to see them lose so bad. Give me the niners by 3.
Chiefs (-6) vs. Packers
80% of the bets are coming in on the Chiefs to cover. Chiefs are 7-4 ATS. I just think the Chiefs are the better team, I dont think the Packers are going to be able to stop them.
Bengals vs. Jaguars (-8.5)
Jags are playing damn good right now. 8-3 ATS. They are at home. The Bengals sucked before Joe Burrow went down. Now they REALLY suck. Jags cover big at home on prime time.
