Alright, welcome back for another week of picks. Last week was not actually awful. I could not have been more accurate on the Cowboys for week 1 which as a fan made me very happy. I am holding out hope for now that they will not let me down. Raiders held on for our first win of the day though. I knew Jimmy G and company would be able to get it done. I should have taken them outright! As for the Jets/Bills game… T’s & P’s to Aaron Rodgers, I may have bet against them but that injury is never good. Hoping for a speedy recovery. Regardless of the injury, Josh Allen is 100% being affected by the Madden curse. I should have thought of that, that one is on me. Whoever has him in fantasy this year I am terribly sorry. Lets get to my picks this week.
NFL Picks YTD 2-1
Vikings (+6.5) vs Eagles
This is a huge line. Vikings are not a bad football team. They do tend to have issues finishing games, but they are not bad. I do think the Eagles win this game, but I believe in the Vikings to cover here. Skol baby!
Seahawks vs Lions (-4.5)
I think the Seahawks season opener was a lucky game. I am fully buying into the NEW Lions this week. I don’t think the Seahawks are consistent at all and just not that good overall. The Lions looked incredible last Thursday night. Ford field. New Lions team. It’ll be a party in what’s left of Detroit.
Giants (-6) vs Cardinals
The Cardinals STINK. That being said the Giants also suck fairly bad based off the Cowboys game last night. I think the Giants have a bounce back game here. They fix their turnover problem. Get the ball to Waller & Saquon. Giants should be able to cover 6 against this trash Cardinals team.
Dolphins (-3) vs Patriots
Dolphins looked really good last week. I think this will be a high ranking team every week this week. The pats did not look great from what I saw (Sorry Reed). To add to this, the Dolphins are the bane of the Pats existence. Its a tale as old as time. Give me the fins on Sunday Night Football.
Saints (-3) vs Panthers
Double header Monday Night Football! This pick seems like a no brainer to me. Saints have Derek Carr, he is a good QB most of the time. Panthers suck. This line might be bait.. but I love it. Hammer the Saints on Monday night. WHO DAT?!
