8-6 week last week. I just cannot get hot picking sides in these games. God bless totals this year as they are what is keeping the account afloat with how bad the parlays have been along with sides. That all being said we had some heartbreaking losses on sides. Ole Miss won by 14 I gave you the number at 14.5 bad job by me giving out numbers that are a half a point off the football number. Kansas lost by 10 I gave you Kansas +9 loser. Miami was covering the entire game versus VA Tech until they weren’t I gave you Miami -7 they won by six points. I gave you Utah -3.5 they win by one point at home against USC if that game would have started a few hours later I think the environment would have totally changed in the Utes favor but it did not in time for them to be able to cover. If those combined four losses are added up we lost those bets by a combined five points that would have turned an 8-6 week into a 12-2 week. Unfortunately thats gambling and that is why they have half points. This week however a storm is brewing and with the Razorbacks on a bye this week I will be able to spread my eye and emotional fortitude further around the country. Lets get to some winners.
Sides YTD 50-55-1
Troy (+3) vs South Alabama
A little early thursday night action for your palette on this one. I think the Trojans have one of the best defenses in the Sun Belt and look for them to beat their in state rivals outright.
Houston (-3) vs Navy
Dana has to have something to give the boys to get them to win this game they need it bad with the kind of season they are having Cougars find a way to cover for us in this one. Hold your nose and ignore the smells from betting this game.
Indiana (+3.5) vs Rutgers
Both of these teams stink. Game should be a pickem instead I will take the field goal and the hook.
Syracuse vs Clemson (-13.5)
A battle of unbeatens a month into the season in the ACC does not happen everyday in the world we live in. This game being in south carolina shapes a lot of my thoughts about it. In the carrier dome the orange are a different kind of team. That being said 11am central kickoff and the way Clemson defends the run I just have trouble seeing Syracuse being able to score any points in this game.
West Virginia vs Texas Tech (-6.5)
The Red Raiders are undefeated out on their Mars colony they call Lubbock. Lubbock Texas is a long way from anywhere let alone West Virginia I like the Red Raiders to continue that home winning streak and win this game by at least a Touchdown.
BC vs Wake Forrest (-20.5)
Mid afternoon game in Winston Salem I like the demon deacons to be scoring early and often. This is a bad BC team and they will struggle to hold down Hartman and the rest of Wakes offense. I like Wake to roll in this one come Saturday.
Memphis vs Tulane (-7)
Back to Back weeks I am throwing my hat in with the green wave. Tulane is a good football team this year and I like them to continue their winning ways at home in New Orleans this weekend.
UCLA (+6.5) vs Oregon
It is time for me to admit UCLA is good. I think this game will be one possession in its entirety so I will take the points in this one.
UCF (-5) vs East Carolina
I think the knights have turned a corner offensively and I expect them to showcase that on the road this week.
Ole Miss vs LSU (-2.5) GAME OF THE YEAR PART 2
First and foremost let the record state that I, Reed Olson am 1-0 in game of the years this year, with the first one being Arkansas +2.5 vs A&M a game Arkansas lost by 2. As I am sitting here today on 10/20/2022 and of being sound mind I will tell you I have seen the final score of this game. I have been exposed to a plethora of Ole Miss hype from a variety of sources this season. A simpleton would look at this line and see the cute little number seven by ole miss and wonder to themselves well why is Ole Miss the underdog when LSU is unranked??? Vegas always knows. I will then tell them, because they are going to lose this game in Baton Rouge next to the Father of all waters, inside a pantheon of concrete and steal, amongst a Louisiana gumbo of humanity that will, cheer their tigers on to a 3 point victory (at the least). Ole Miss will not run the table and will not be able to claim themselves unbeaten after taking a visit down to cajun country. Let the Band play neck and if you are at the game go on over to Fred’s afterwards, because as they will tell you “Freds we do the fucking”

Iowa vs Ohio State (Over 49.5)
I am accounting on anywhere from 3 to 17 points from the hawkeyes and the buckeyes should do the rest of the heavy lifting in this one to get us to 50.
Syracuse vs Clemson (Under 50)
For all the reasons I am betting Clemson I must continue the logic and apply it to the total as well.
Toledo vs Buffalo (Over 57)
A little MACtion for all the other sickos like me take it now only gonna go up.
BYU vs Liberty (Over 58)
In a battle between fanatical independent religious institutions I will simply take the over and let them hash out their differences between each other.
North Texas vs UTSA (Under 72.5)
This is a boatload of points. I like playing with fire so give me the under to make things interesting.
Texas vs Oklahoma State (Under 61)
Through a little investigating I have found that out that there will be wind gusts up to 25mph in stillwater on Saturday.
