When I went back to reflect and look back at last week I was anticipating the record to be a lot worse. I think that was because I was very intoxicated last saturday and sat in Razorback stadium and watched Jackson Dart take a sledgehammer to the side of mine and 60,000 other razorback fans heads for several hours. For that reason I did not get to see much of the Ohio state game or the Illini game which I was on the wrong side on both of those matchups. At the end of the day once the smoke cleared I was 6-6 with another parlay loser. Simply not good enough. I have an opportunity though this weekend something I have not done all season. Thats right folks I have a GOTY…
Sides YTD 51-46-1
Iowa (-6.5) vs UCLA
The Bruins got a nice win on the road at Nebraska last week. This just feels like a game kirk and the boys take care of business and enjoy that lovely Pasadena weather on a friday night and have all weekend to kick back and enjoy a beverage.
West Virginia vs Cincinnati (-3.5)
The Bearcats will be bowling after winning this game tomorrow. I did not anticipate cinci having this good of a season this far in, but here we are. The vibes in Morgantown are not good atm and neal brown will have a tough time.
G.O.T.Y
Georgia (-2.5) vs Ole Miss
For those of you that are not familiar with the term this is a Game of the Year play. You have to feel these deep in your gut and can’t throw them around all willy nilly. This is probably the latest into the year I have waited to have one. I love the dogs in this spot. Lane Kiffin does not win big games point blank period. Kirby Smart on the other hand in big games against anyone not named alabama is very fucking good. It is my belief that Tre Harris is still not very healthy for the rebs I think that is a big problem for their chances. The big turning point will be the Bulldogs ability to generate pressure up front. I am not a believer in this O-Line for the rebs. The biggest concern I have is Carson Beck. He has been flat out bad this year. I want the dogs to be committed to the run game and limit Ole Miss on time of possession. Lets go fucking win this one in Oxford.
Iowa State (-2.5) vs Kansas
The clones lost a tough one last week against the red raiders. They bounce back here.
Oregon (-24) vs Maryland
Something about a death star pointed at college park. Say good night terrapins
Alabama vs LSU (+3)
Death Valley at night as an underdog. Nick Saban ain’t walking through that door. One thing concerns me is how many carries they give milroe this week. That is the one guy that could easily break this game.
Oklahoma (-2.5) vs Missouri
This line flipped from Mizzou -2.5 so naturally have to take the sooners.
Washington vs Penn State (-13)
Penn State bounces back and throttles Washington.
