Every year this goes to fast already two months into the college football season. Another winning week for the sides and another losing week for the totals. If I cut totals entirely we are looking at a positive record in our sides finally! Down 16 units so far on our picks and 23 units when you factor in the parlays which somehow have still not hit one (thanks a lot Ohio state…). I have a good feeling about this week though and we have another gorgeous slate of games to watch all saturday so lets get down to business and have a winning week I am due for a burst out week.

Sides YTD 36-33-1

Florida State (+3) vs Duke 

I know most people agree at this point Florida State stinks, but they have finally benched DJ to my understanding. Getting a field goal against a team I still believe they are more talented than I will take the noles to keep it close and probably win this football game.

Miami (-5) vs Louisville

Most people in the media this week have been taking the cards in this one saying that the canes have been playing with fire and they are bound to get burned soon enough. I do think they will lose a game sometime in this regular season. The problem here is I really like Cam Ward and the way he has been operating within this offense give me the canes to go to the bluegrass state and win by a least a TD.

ECU vs Army (-16.5)

I will keep betting both service academies spreads every week.

Nebraska vs Indiana (-6.5)

In a similar vein to my troop bets long time readers have noticed this teams appearance on a weekly bases. I mean what can I say I am a Curt Cignetti guy, of course we will be smoking that Nebraska pack in Bloomington every saturday night.

Virginia vs Clemson (-20.5)

Everything tells me to take the hoo’s as they have been very quietly winning a lot of football games. Unfortunately for them 11am kickoff in death valley. Give me the tigers big.

Alabama (-3) vs Tennessee 

I want to take the vols for my dear friend and cowriter of this site Logan. This matchup comes down to QB play for me. I want to have Jalen Milroe with the ball in his had late in the game more than I want it in Nico’s hand that is the plain truth in this handicap.

Michigan vs Illinois (+4)

This is the year for Illinois if they want to bring down big bad michigan go get them boys.

Charlotte vs Navy (-16)

Texas A&M (-18) vs Mississippi State

State gave good effort against Georgia last week. I like the Aggies to keep their undefeated SEC record intact.

LSU vs Arkansas (+3)

I was rooting very hard for the tigers to win last week in overtime. This is a classic fayetteville let down spot. I like the hogs to win the game which means I better bet pretty penny on them to cover their win total loss I am about to have to pay up on

Georgia vs Texas (-3 First half)

Georgia can hang with anyone in the country, but boy oh boy they have loved getting out to extremely slow starts this year. Give me the longhorns to be up at half and then maybe look at some live bets based on game flow in this heavyweight bout.
