Well I took the shot and came up short last week. 8-14 down 6 units and really it was 7 units, because of course the parlay lost as well last week. Overall I am down this year, but we are far from out here. Well this week we are putting another bullet in the gun and seeing where we come out. This is a sneaky good card and hopefully the games deliver in the way that I think they are capable of.

Texas Tech vs Utah (-3)
Big Noon Kickoff baby. Except! Wait for it. It is at 10am local time. This is one of the better games Fox has this week, but come on this game being played this early on mountain time is so damn silly. Given the circumstances of not exactly knowing what these two teams when they match up with a team in their weight class I am gonna take the home team. I like Utah’s O-Line I think they will be in the running for the Joe Moore Award this year along with Miami, and Penn State. Take care of the ball and run the damn ball right at those brand new expensive D-Lineman Tech bought this offseason. I expect them to be asking for the oxygen mask come the fourth quarter.
Auburn vs Oklahoma (-7)
Boy oh boy this should be a fun one in Norman. QB is the deciding factor for me here John Mater has been a big upgrade for the sooners so far this season over now Auburn QB Jackson Arnold. I still worry about Arnold’s ability to run the football, but he is a very limited passer still at this point in his career. I know those Auburn WR’s are a very talented group, but Brent Venables and this talented OU defense will have a good schemed up to keep them a limited factor this weekend.
Michigan (-1.5) vs Nebraska
Will the Huskers and the Blackshirts be able to stop the run? That is what will determine the outcome in this spot in Lincoln. I am betting they will not be able to. In Nebraska’s matchup against Cincy week one the bearcats had something in the ballpark of an 80% rushing success rate. I like Underwood want Biff Poggi to let him spin it this weekend in a very tough road environment.
NC State (+3) vs Duke
Think this maybe a little bit of a wrong team favored I am betting the wolfpack outright as well. Shoutout Dave Dorn.
NIU vs Mississippi State (-21.5)
Mississippi State must dominate their non conference opponents for morale I like them this weekend to put up some points.
Delaware vs FIU (-4.5)
Perfect spot game to bet the Panthers. Delaware with a big upset vs UConn last week now have to go down to that Florida heat give me FIU to cover the number here.
Florida vs Miami (-9.5) and Miami First Half (-5.5)
Miami has looked like the best team in the country so far this year in my eyes. They are a much better football team than the Gators. When does the quit factor start to factor in for this Florida team? Billy Napier is a dead man walking now just put him in the grave. Canes Big.
Illinois (+6.5) vs Indiana and Illinois First half (+3.5)
Are we sure the Hoosiers are good? Who have they beat? ODU, Kennesaw St, and Indiana State. Not exactly a murders row of opponents there for them. I love Luke Altmeyer. I think Bret has got the boy’s playing his brand of ball and I like them to go into Bloomington and win this one on the field.
Washington (-19.5) vs Wazzu
I am not sure yet if the Huskies are any good. I do think that Wazzu is very bad though. Could be a look ahead spot for Washington with Ohio State coming to town next week, but I think they win by 20+ anyway.

Taylen Green is fucking awesome and the Arkansas Defense seeminly can’t stop a nosebleed. Points, Points, Points.

The Civil War. I do not think this game will be close, but don’t want to get backdoored on some bullshit in Corvallis so just give me the Over.

Get right game for the Irish and with their defense wouldn’t be surprised if the boilermakers get in on the scoring as well.
West Virginia vs Kansas Under 54.5
Mountaineers emotional let down spot after winning the backyard brawl and you have to go to Lawrence does not sound fun to me.
